JIM TYER EXTRAS

Due to space constraints, it was impossible to print all the information I had amassed on Jim Tyer. Here are a few interesting excerpts, the first is a short comment by Jerry Beck on how underground comic artist Robert Crumb may have been influenced by Tyer's work. There are also two excerpts from Will Friedwald's massive piece on Tyer. The first is a look at how modern artists are influenced by Tyer, and the second are some humorous stories about the excessive extent of Jim Tyer's niceness.

And now, a beautifully drawn, complete 6-page comic story
(starring Hennery Hound) drawn by Jim Tyer from the mid-'40s.
