The first four drawings are sample setups Ed drew in the late-'40s to try and encourage Paul Fennell to explore a more modern style in his TV commercials. The next piece is a model drawing of the H/B character Lippy Lion from the Sixties, and some models of cats. The cats look like TOP CAT characters, but Ed says he thinks these particular drawings were designs for TV commercials.
